The St. Louis, Missouri Chapter

The St. Louis, Missouri Chapter of Jack and Jill was started as a Mothers’ Club and organized by Hortense Brooks on February 3, 1947. In addition to Hortense Brooks, the membership included:

In March 1975 the St. Louis, Missouri Chapter moved from the Central Region to the Mid-Western Region. Our Chapter has experienced remarkable growth and made outstanding contributions on a local, regional, and national level.

In 2015, the Metropolitan St. Louis Chapter of the Central Region merged with the St. Louis Chapter.

In 2024, sixteen new Mothers were inducted into our chapter.

The St. Louis Chapter is proud to be the home of past Mid-Western Regional Director, Sandra Townsend.
